Title: Comic Book Invest’s Outside Looking In: Comics That Didn’t Make the Hot 10 List

In the world of comic book collecting, there are always hidden gems that may not make it to the top of the Hot 10 List but are still worth noting. Comic Book Invest’s new column, Outside Looking In, shines a spotlight on some comics that didn’t quite make the cut but are still worth keeping an eye on.

One such comic is Avengers: The Terminatrix Objective #1, which has seen a resurgence in interest thanks to an appearance of Alioth in the Deadpool trailer. With most sales around $10 and even CGC 9.8s seeing a slight increase in price, this book has bounced back onto the radar after first appearing in Loki.

Another comic to watch is Uncanny X-Men #428, which has quickly jumped in price after a quick cameo of Azazel in the Deadpool trailer. Once a dollar book, it has now popped to $10 with a high hitting $15. The future of this book will depend on the size of the role Azazel plays, but it’s worth keeping an eye out for.

Power Girl #8 1:25 is also worth noting, with averages around $35 and a high of $45. This new 1:25 variant has shown promise and is a solid start for what appears to be a classic pinup style variant by Irvin Rodriguez.

Rocketeer Adventures #4, a B cover variant from 2011, has seen a significant jump in price with two sales reaching $170 and $175 raw. While the volume may not be high enough to make the main list, it’s definitely a book to watch.

Lastly, Ultimate Universe #1 2nd Print 1:25 has seen a minimum price of $40 with only a few sales. This variant feels warranted given the popularity of the new Ultimate Universe and the fact that the original was released months ago.

While these comics may not have made the Hot 10 List, they are still worth keeping an eye on for potential future gains. Stay tuned for more updates on these comics and others in Comic Book Invest’s Outside Looking In column.
