Unveiling the Luchaverse: A New Comic Series Featuring Legendary Luchadors

The world of Lucha Libre is about to get even more exciting with the launch of the Luchaverse, a new comic book series that brings together legendary luchadors like Rey Mysterio and Tinieblas Jr. In this genre-blending thrill ride, these wrestling heroes will take on the role of monster hunters as they investigate ancient mysteries and dark powers.

Rey Mysterio, known as the most recognized luchador on the planet, will star in the first chapter of Luchaverse: Catalyst #1. Teaming up with the mysterious military group The Ambassadors, Rey Mysterio must locate an ancient temple and retrieve the Mask of the First Mysterio to fulfill his legacy as a warrior against darkness.

Tinieblas Jr., following in his father’s footsteps, will also play a key role in the Luchaverse. As an established protector of the human and monster realms, Tinieblas Jr. will join forces with Rey Mysterio and The Ambassadors to save both worlds from the unimaginable dark power that threatens them.

The concept of the Luchaverse was created by Masked Republic President & COO Kevin Kleinrock and Founder and CEO Ruben Zamora. The first issue is written by Ivan Plaza and Marco Lopez, with art by Ben Harvey and Diego Simone. The series will feature covers by Francesco Tomaselli, Ben Harvey, and Diego Simone.
