Fanatics, the sports-focused company led by CEO Michael Rubin, is set to launch its first live flagship event called Fanatics Fest. The event, scheduled for August 16-18 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City, aims to create a Comic-Con-like experience for sports fans.

The star-studded lineup for Fanatics Fest includes NFL legends Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, MLB legend Derek Jeter, NBA superstar Kevin Durant, entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk, Eli Manning, WNBA star Sabrina Ionescu, and wrestling legend Hulk Hogan. The event will be produced by Fanatics Events, the company’s events division.

Fanatics Fest will feature a 2,500 seat main stage and a 400,000 square foot show floor with booths and activations from various sports organizations and brands. The goal of the event is to engage both hardcore sports fans and casual fans, offering a wide range of programming and activities.

Some of the concepts being considered for Fanatics Fest include live podcast tapings, product drops, major announcements, and interactive exhibits. General admission tickets will be priced at $50, with ticket prices ranging from $20-$400 depending on the type of ticket purchased.

Fanatics plans to host a couple of major shows in the U.S. before expanding internationally and organizing smaller, more collector-focused events. The company hopes to gather feedback from fans to improve future events and create a unique experience for sports enthusiasts.
