Abrams ComicArts to Publish Frank Miller’s New Titles: Ronin Rising and Pandora

Legendary comics auteur Frank Miller is teaming up with Abrams ComicArts to bring fans two exciting new releases this October. The partnership will see Abrams publishing book format products from Miller’s own company, Frank Miller Presents, ensuring that his work continues to reach fans far and wide.

The first two titles under this new agreement are sure to captivate readers. “Ronin Rising” is a new story set in the world originally created by Miller in his groundbreaking 1983-84 DC series. Written by Miller himself, with art by Miller and Philip Tan, and inks by Daniel Henriques, this release promises to be a must-read for fans of the original series. The deluxe Collector’s Edition will feature a new foreword by Jim Lee and 49 pages of bonus material, including all the spreads from the original series presented in full landscape format as Miller intended.

In addition to “Ronin Rising,” ComicArts will also be publishing “Pandora,” a tale inspired by the illustrated fairy tales Miller enjoyed as a child. Co-written by Anthony Maranville and Chris Silvestri, with art by Emma Kubert, this story follows a girl who discovers a powerful relic that can warp reality. As she begins to use it to change the world around her, chaos ensues, making for a thrilling and unpredictable narrative.

Fans can look forward to more announcements from Miller and Abrams in the future, including single issue comic series and additional titles. With Miller’s unique storytelling style and Abrams’ commitment to quality and innovation, this partnership is sure to produce some truly exceptional work that will delight fans old and new alike.
