A New MCU Character Makes Her First Appearance in Comic Books – Latest News on Comic Book Movies and Superhero Films

Exploring Madisynn’s Cameo in What If…? Venom #3 and Her MCU Origins

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has introduced a plethora of characters over the years, some of whom have made their way into the comic book world. The latest addition to this trend is Madisynn, the party-girl who befriended Wong in the She-Hulk: Attorney At Law series. However, her debut in a Marvel comic may surprise fans.

Madisynn’s cameo came in What If…? Venom #3, a comic that explores an alternate timeline where the Venom symbiote bonded with different individuals. In this issue, the symbiote bonds with Doctor Strange, leading to an unexpected appearance by Madisynn early on in the story.

In the MCU, Madisynn was portrayed by writer/comedian Patty Guggenheim in the She-Hulk: Attorney At Law episode “Is This Not Real Magic?” Her character was left stranded in another dimension by a bumbling magician, leading to a friendship with Wong and a humorous post-credit scene where they bonded over TV shows.

While Madisynn has yet to make a return in the MCU, fans have expressed interest in seeing more of her character. There were even discussions about a potential Disney Plus series featuring Madisynn and Wong. Although that may not be in the cards at the moment, Madisynn’s comic book cameo opens up the possibility for more appearances in the future.

What If…? Venom #3 is now available for fans to read online or at their local comic book shops, offering a unique glimpse into an alternate Marvel universe where characters like Madisynn can shine.
