Portsmouth Comic Con Talent Search for New Comic Creators Led by David Baillie

Portsmouth Comic Con is set to take place on the 11th and 12th of May, and this year, attendees have the exciting opportunity to participate in a Talent Search for new comic book creators. The search will be led by David Baillie, a renowned writer for 2000AD and Vertigo.

Participants are encouraged to submit a single comic book page for consideration, with the chance to win guest passes for next year’s convention, Portsmouth Comic Con swag, and signed comics from Artist Alley guests. Additionally, winners will receive a one-to-one portfolio review with industry experts from Marvel, DC, Lucasfilm, and more.

The deadline for submissions is May 9th, and entries must be completed using analog or digital tools in 2023. No AI creations are allowed. The event promises to be a fantastic opportunity for aspiring comic creators to showcase their talent and receive valuable feedback from industry professionals.
